We’ve just returned to Perth after delivering our largest Beach to Bush program to date across Kalgoorlie-Boulder and Menzies, including what we believe to be Australia’s most remote trishaw delivery of its kind in the small Goldfields town of Menzies.
Taking a day out of our busy Kalgoorlie-Boulder program, our team travelled to Menzies with our fleet of trishaws to spend time with Principal Megan and her wonderful students at Menzies Community School, the Menzies Aboriginal Corporation and local residents.
Together, we enjoyed the simple pleasure of spending time on three wheels, sharing stories, learning about Menzies and connecting with the people who make this community so special.
Days like these remind us that Beach to Bush is about so much more than a bike ride. It is about creating opportunities for connection, inclusion and participation, bringing people together through shared experiences and opening doors to the social spaces that help communities thrive.
