Our community support that keeps on giving

Our success is deeply rooted in the unwavering support of our community. Today, we celebrate a significant milestone: our recent grant from Lotterywest. Approved by our Premier last week, this grant highlights the invaluable role Lotterywest plays in our state. As Australia’s only government-owned and operated lottery, Lotterywest truly embodies the spirit of “for community, by community.”

Thanks to this generous support, we have been able to acquire a 2024 Hyundai Staria. This new vehicle will ensure a safe and reliable means of transportation, making it easier to engage our volunteers and allowing us to transport two Trishaws simultaneously.

Additionally, the funds have enabled us to expand our fleet with our 6th Trishaw, aligning with our strategic goal of systematically upgrading our technology. This not only enhances the reliability of our service but also benefits our volunteers and ensures the continuity of our services.

This project is made even more special by the support we’ve received from Bendigo Bank Kingsway and the City of Stirling. Their contributions will help us redesign and produce the vinyl wrapping needed to promote our work within the community. We also want to acknowledge the complimentary three-year servicing agreement provided by Hyundai Osborne Park.

Finally, we extend our thanks to the City of Joondalup for assisting us in keeping our our old Fiat Scudo on the road. While it may not have been the smoothest ride, that van was crucial in keeping our Trishaw fleet connected with our bike mechanics, ultimately enabling us to double the number of passengers we served.

Offering the most frequent service of its kind in Australia, our achievements are made possible by the steadfast support of our coastal community and the organisations that back our mission.
