Help us to deliver food to people experiencing food insecurity.
Motion by the Ocean’s Moving Food program collects and redistributes surplus food to support local organisations, families and individuals experiencing food insecurity.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with our Thursday morning food collection (can be a shared role). This role involves collecting donated food from SecondBite using our charity van and transporting it to Sorrento, where it is sorted and prepared for our volunteer delivery drivers to distribute throughout the community.
It’s a practical, hands-on way to make a real difference. By helping us collect food that might otherwise go to waste, you are helping ensure it can instead reach people in our community who need a little extra support.
What you’ll need
- A current WA driver’s licence
- A National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one
(Motion by the Ocean will cover the cost of your National Police Clearance)
