Beach to Bush is an extension of our Cycling Without Age Sorrento programme and is proof that when we collaborate, we create impact – and that everyone deserves to feel included, valued, and connected. We see so much joy in reaching unserviced areas, giving the most vulnerable an opportunity to experience a bike ride, often for the first time in years, or ever.
Ensuring all rides were pre-booked prior to our arrival meant that those who stood to benefit most from the experience were able to participate. This supports our core aim of enabling people to remain socially connected, active, and engaged within the communities they live in and love.
The true value of our work lies not in the ride itself. The Trishaws are simply the vehicles we use to create meaningful opportunities for connection and participation. Through our rides, our passengers are able to access social spaces that may not otherwise be available to them, strengthening their connection to the community around them. It’s not just about the bike ride.
